Linda is a nurse practitioner and Director of Student Health Services at North Idaho College and mother of Ana. Ana's husband Noah is a valuable addition to the family. Ernie is a regular contributor and writes the column, "The Hawks Nest" for the River Journal and is an outdoor photographer. He also enjoys working part-time as a groundskeeper at North Idaho College. Linda and Ernie live on ten acres in the woods of North Idaho and are continuing a work in progress they call home. Surrounded by family and friends they baptized their home and were married on the front porch during a rainstorm in 2004.
